Boy, are we excited to present our final schedule. It's just jam packed with activities, old and new. Take a look and come see us!
Thursday
Meet and Greet - 7pm-8pm (Chestnut)
Just come by and chat about spirituality, make new connections, and get to know one another better. We'll be providing drinks and a cheese and meat selection in addition to some home made Middle Eastern sweets for you to gnaw on while you do. Afterwards....
Lawrence of Arabia - Thurs 9pm-1am (Chestnut)
The research continues! We have now procured the following for use with this year's panels:
Camels" by William J Ripple
The Cultural Atlas of Mesopotamia and the Ancient Near East" by Michael Roaf
The Hittites: And Their Contemporaries in Asia Minor" by J. G. McQueen
Please spread this around.
I don't know how it happened but the original list got deleted. After discussing it with attendees and other spirituality track planners, I've changed the focus of the list a bit.
Furry Spirituality Planning can be found HERE.
The group's focus is as follows:
"This group is intended for those who attend spirituality tracks or who run them at conventions. Its purpose is to discuss problems and issues, share resources, and share planning for each track year.
Hey, all,
We're really excited to have just placed our first order for books needed for the panels. Since we know a lot of you like to read along or raise your own points here's the list:
Camel Fables from Sailors of the Sudan by Thurlow R. Weed, Jr.
Myths from Mesopotamia - Creation, the Flood, Gilgamesh, and Others by Stephanie Dalley
After months of research in several university libraries, book stores, and on line outlets, we've come up empty. Too many of the books on African folklore are out of print or so expensive there' just no way we can possibly afford to do the in depth studies on the topics we are accustomed to offering.
I've created this list for the purpose of providing a consolidated place for discussion of and development of the panels for MFM. If you
have suggestions, if you want to be a panelist, or if you just want to see how we do what we do, this would be the place to look.

I intend to use this as a working list for fielding and developing panel ideas which are handed to me, maintaining a database of contacts
